In 2025, I led the execution of 3 founder/CEO retreats in Michigan. One founder, who has raised $144M, said, “It was the best founders retreat I’ve been to, by far…Absolutely transformational.” The expert facilitator said it was, “seamless.”

My approach to these retreats is to attend to every detail, transition, and moment to ensure that attendees can be present rather than thinking about what comes next.

Task:

The third retreat integrated the organization’s new Monday.com build out, and I switched my operations to Monday.com with sustainability and replication in mind.

Action:

Throughout the operational process, I built a template that incorporated every operational element that we could use for future retreats and for future hires.

Result: This action will now reduce operational planning time by hours and weeks, because it is all laid out and prepared to execute for the next round.
